Cindy Webb became Mississippi Power's director of Human Resources in 2012.
Webb is responsible for HR delivery, talent management, workers' compensation, disability management, health and wellness services, labor relations and employee relations.
She began working for the company in 1982 in marketing research. Following her role in Marketing, Webb has served the company in increasing roles of responsibility within Human Resources and Corporate Communication, including professional and leadership development, talent management, corporate performance and planning, corporate advertising and director of Corporate Communication.
Webb, a Gulfport native, is a graduate of Gulfport High School. She earned a bachelor's degree in business administration with an emphasis in management from the University of Mississippi.
Throughout her career, Webb has been an active participant in community and professional organizations. She has been involved with the United Way of South Mississippi, Utility Communicators International and served on the board of directors for the Child Abuse Prevention Center of South Mississippi for eight years. She is currently a member of the Society for Human Resources Management.
She is a graduate of Leadership Gulf Coast, Leadership Mississippi and Mississippi Power's Leadership Development Program.
Webb and her husband, John, live in Gulfport. They have three children.
